Myrmecocystus placodops

Myrmecocystus placodops one of the biggest dark colored honeypots in North America. They are mostly found in rocky environment. Which makes them harder to find and harder to collect because its hard to dig through rocky soil. But having this species is very rewarding because they are very fascinating to observe especially when they start having repletes.
